Entrepreneurship Launchpad

Slikun shall extend its guidance, support & access to entrepreneurs who undergo business training to encourage them towards their business establishment. A specialized magazine is under construction that specifically caters to businesses. Stories of business owners who are a part of Slikun (directly or indirectly) shall be allotted a page in the magazine along with their business offerings. The aim of this magazine is to act like a launchpad for micro and nano-businesses, becoming a small independent extension of their marketing efforts. In addition, the entrepreneurial cell shall invite young and dynamic entrepreneurs from all over the world to share their experiences with our learners, to give them practical insights into business.

Internships & Mentorship

Slikun shall expand access to project internships and mentorship workshops for all its programs for free. Thus, advanced certifications as well as Master's programs will now be equipped with a real-life-size project internship with actual companies.. Slikun has entered into strategic partnerships with mid-sized companies who shall provide their projects to students, and award them with a certificate of internship completion. Additionally, they may give them a letter of appreciation if the project matches their expectations.

Slikun aims to facilitate cross-disciplinary encounters among faculty, staff, students, and alumni with a view to incubate spontaneous collaborations among colleagues. Research suggests that fresh concepts often emerge from casual exchanges and it is a bet that can be taken by us.
We aim to:
1. Foster an environment throughout the institution that encourages increased interactions, forging fortuitous connections, and enhancing interdisciplinary encounters.
2. Allocate resources towards initiatives and gatherings at various levels, led by expert professionals that cultivate meaningful grassroots of collaborations among all.
3. Establish effective communication channels for faculty, staff, and students to exchange interests, and facilitate the exploration of shared research opportunities and creative endeavors.
